Welcome to our small family-owned New Mexico guest ranch! You'll find Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch tucked away in the Black Range mountains of southwest New Mexico, in the heart of the 3.3-million-acre Gila National Forest. Here, the mountain landscape is boundless, and the open meadows and deep canyons with crystal clear spring-fed creeks are enough to soothe even the busiest of minds. We offer a relaxed and personal atmosphere. With beautiful temperate weather, it is always the perfect time to pack your bags and experience an authentic New Mexico ranch.
Horseback riding is available only as a part of our all-inclusive package. Horses are our passion and livelihood. As one of our guests said, "We like everything about your ranch but we especially like the way your horses are loved and treated." This is a real western adventure and you won't find better horses or trail riding anywhere!
Other activities that our guests enjoy include: learning about the local history, including seeing 1,000 year old archaeological sites nearby, campfires at night (sometimes with s'mores and sing-a-longs!), fantastic stargazing, birdwatching and wildlife viewing, unguided hiking, outdoor and indoor games, photography, swimming in the creek, meditation, or just reading a good book on one of our bench swings.

At Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch you will spend time together as a family. As we are a small ranch, we do not have dedicated children's programs or babysitting services. The minimum age for children to ride horses on the trail is 7 years old. We have well-trained, gentle horses and can accommodate any level of rider.
