Angel Fire Resort is located in northern New Mexico in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range.
Centuries ago, American Indians hunting plentiful game in the Moreno Valley saw the pink light of alpenglow on these mountains. They christened the valley "the land of Angel Fire."

Angel Fire's ski terrain is expansive. More than 68 trails are serviced by six chairlifts.
Wide slopes cascade through stands of aspen and pine. Nearly 2,050 vertical feet of terrain means lots of ski time on the slopes.
The view from the summit is magnificent -- Wheeler Peak, New Mexico's tallest, towers over the valley.
The full-service base area is convenient. Everything skiers need is at hand.
Entertainment at the Village Haus Restaurant and Bar livens weekends and holidays. Special events punctuate the season with fireworks displays, fun races, snowboard competitions and our exciting annual snow shovel race.
