We offer a discount for children 12 and under on all trips except those that go through the Taos Box (where the recommended minimum age is 12). On the Orilla Verde float trip, we offer an extra discount for children under 6. Group discounts and weekday specials available also - just ask us!

We take rafters of all ages. On the Rio Grande: the Orilla Verde float is suitable for the smallest kids and seniors. The Racecourse whitewater trip has a recommended minimum age of 6 at most water levels (we raise that when the water rises). The Taos Box has a recommended minimum age of 12 (which rises with the water too). All our trips are suitable for first-time rafters--but for the Taos Box, you must be in good physical condition and have a good sense of adventure! On the Rio Chama: The Chama is perfect for families. It is rated easy Class 3, with most of the rapids at the end of the trip. Very young children can take out before the bigger rapids.
Half-day trips: snack included: chips & salsa, fruit, cookies. Full-day trips: lunch included: chips & salsa, deli-style buffet with various breads, meats, cheese, vegetables, condiments. Fruit and cookies. Drinks. Overnight trips: all camp gear and meals included in the price! (We don't charge you extra for camp gear and rain gear like some companies do.) Camp gear includes generous-sized tent, thick semi-inflatable sleeping pads and freshly laundered sleeping bags. (Comfort camp option also available on the Chama, with raised cots, large walled tent, private toilet, etc.) We pride ourselves on the quality of our food: dinners include mixed grills, salads, freshly baked cakes; breakfasts include bacon & sausages, omelets to order, pancakes.
