Surrounding Area
There are so many activities in the Nelson County area, you can stay as busy as you'd like, or never leave the property! We are surrounded by over 30 wineries, 5 breweries, 2 distilleries, and 3 cideries. Monticello is an easy 30 minute drive away, as is downtown Charlottesville. Lynchburg is 30 minutes south. Our guests come to enjoy wineries, history, hiking, antiquing, good food, and even horse-back riding!
Accommodations
We have two houses on the property: our main house has 6 guest rooms, each with private baths, and our Farmhouse has 3 guest rooms, also each with private baths. Regardless of which home you choose, our guests enjoy all the property amenities: hiking trail, vineyard, gazebo, new gas fire pit overlooking the mountains, and new inground salt water swimming pool.
Rooms/Suites
All nine of our rooms have private baths, seating areas and beautiful views. Four of our rooms have king-sized beds, five have queens. Two of our rooms can be set up as twin beds or king beds. They are all luxuriously appointed with beautiful linens, towels, bath robes and soap/shampoo. All rooms have blow dryers, wine glasses, wine openers, and reading materials.
Amenities
Our new one-mile hiking trail encompassing the property is very popular with our guests, as is our new gas fire pit and our new inground salt water swimming pool. We have several restaurants close by in Lovingston. The breweries also all serve food and are anywhere from 6 minutes to 20 minutes from us. Downtown Charlottesville offers every type of food known, and is an easy 30 minute drive north.
Services Offered
We offer Wine Tours in our new 14 passenger cargo van! We also partner with our local spa team to arrange massages, spa services, and spa treatments. Just let us know in advance so we can coordinate for you!
Policies & Restrictions
We are a non-smoking property, with designated spots available for smokers. No pets, or children under the age of 16.
