The largest Rhododendron bushes on Vancouver Island (#23/26) There are several rhododendron bushes in our heritage gardens that are well over 100 feet in diameter and over 100 yrs old.
Fountains and azaleas (#24/26) A huge variety of birds frequently visits the gardens and fountain to refresh, feed, and bathe.
Lush heritage gardens (#25/26) May & June are spectacular as dozens of Rhododendron, Azalea and Hydrangea plants burst forth with their annual beauty.
200 feet of frontage along the world famous Somass River. (#26/26) Over 24 million Sockeye, Chinook, and Coho salmon and Steel-head trout pass through this river annually as they begin or complete their complicated life cycles.
