Ocean Resort, Vancouver Island's Wellness Retreat Centre, is the perfect setting for your Fresh Start Health Retreat. You will enjoy an environment that is both welcoming and relaxing for your healing experience.

Take long walks on the beach, watch the resident eagles and other wildlife from the comfort of a beach chair or enjoy a contemplative stroll through the labyrinth, all while benefiting from our tested and results-oriented programs, individualized as per your health condition or issue, with professional assessments, guidance and one-on one services included. Total Health and Wellness Makeover
Our programs have a standard rate $4,000 per week and include all services but accommodations. There are included in the program: professional services, one-on-one-treatments, custom healing protocols and core program (see detailed description of components above).

Note: All rates are subject to 5% GST. There is a certain credit allowed for the one-on-one services and custom protocols ($1,000 for 7 days, $2,200 for 14-Days and $3,500 for 21-Days). Your healing plan will be based on that budget and will include approximately 6 treatments per week and 2 3-5 day protocols. If you request any services, in addition to the offered plan, it would be extra.

The Ocean Wellness Centre accommodates your daily activities: cleansing drinks, lectures, dining, workshops, and one-on-one health services.

Decor of both Wellness Centre and Rooms is crisp and clean with a cozy feel. Designed with guest comfort in mind, it is appointed with wood flooring and drawing the natural ocean-side surroundings into the décor.

During Fresh Start programs, the Ocean Resort Wellness Centre is almost exclusively available only to our guests, to ensure private setting and small group environment, instrumental to deep healing. The boutique 2-story building is located on the beautiful Ocean side. The yoga room, class rooms and dining area all look over the ocean and the Desolation Sound Mountain Range. Additionally, there are a fitness room, as well as health treatments and consultations area.

Accommodations are not included in the program package, but are offered at preferred rates to our guests. The Ocean Resort boasts 28 perfectly appointed hotel rooms, many with ocean views. This eco-friendly resort has been recently renovated, and is beautifully decorated.

Children may attend a session only if accompanied by their legal guardian; please contact us for further details. Buildings are 100% non-smoking, though there is a designated area outside and you can smoke on the beach, if you do not want or are not ready to Quit during your stay. It is not recommended to come with a pet, due to the intensive healing nature and schedule of the program. Almost all who came with pets said that they wouldn't do it again, because it was a distraction and they missed out on many things.

Guests traveling by air can fly into either the Comox Airport (YQQ) or the Campbell River Airport (YBL) when staying at Ocean Resort.

Continue North towards Campbell River on Hwy 19;
Exit #144 (Hamm Rd; To Hwy 19A; Travel 4 Km North.

Prince Rupert & Bella Coola & Pt. Hardy to Oyster Bay
Drive South approx. 3.5 Hours Hwy 19:
Exit #161 (Jubilee Parkway) to 19A; Travel South 9 Km.

Important Tip: If using GPS, put location as Campbell River (if you do Oyster Bay, it may mislead you into the opposite direction on the last section of the route). From Nanaimo you will be going north.
