Day hike to UNESCO heritage listed Changunarayan would be an enjoyable day. Further you can get to Nagarkot or Bhaktapur Durbar Square. To the left, you can ride or walk to authentic Sankhu Village. Tranquil House is feasible point for major cultural and natural attractions of Kathmandu Valley including easy local access to Boudanath Stupa.

We have 6 rooms in total featuring various facilities and big garden out front where you can read or work with your computer accessing the internet. We have double, twin and single rooms with common showers and attached bathroom. Furnished with new materials and supplies, each room is well carpeted and has wall fan, closet with access to the internet. We hope to provide best possible accommodation in reasonable price.

During the homestay, we tend to provide most of the services and amenities to make out guest stay cozy and comfortable. We have double, twin and single rooms with common showers and attached bathroom. Furnished with new materials and supplies, each room is well carpeted and has wall fan with the closet. We have two TV lounge (or lobby) at each floor to have some entertainment or news. Breakfast is included in the room price. We posses some musical instruments and entertain ourselves in the evening. Willing for the Karaoke! Big garden and restaurant attached with it is proper place to read your books, eat or drink at restaurant or enjoy connecting with the free access of internet.

Tranquil House is located at the edge of Kathmandu Valley quite near to historic temple of Changunarayan Temple. There are proper route for the bus or mini bus service from the center of Kathmandu Valley.

Tranquil House lies at Mulpani, on the way to famous Sakhu village. After crossing Boudanath Stupa and Daksin Dhoka, we stop at Tiwari Tol (do not pass the gate of Gokarna forest resort) changing route to Mulpani Chaur. Just before reaching the gate of Gokarna forest resort, the highway inclined in right side where the TRANQUIL HOMESTAY directions can be seen. From the highway, we need to go for 1.2 km more pass through Baba Chowk and Milan Chowk.

There are proper route for the bus or mini bus service to the center of Kathmandu Valley.

En-route:
City Bus Park - Gausala- Chabahil- Boudanath- Jorpati- Daksin Dhoka- Tiwari Tole- Baba Chowk- Milan Chowk- Mulpani Chaur (direct route)

Chabahil, Boudanath Stupa and Jorpati is the best stops to catch direct bus or mini bus to Mulpani Chaur besides City Bus Park direct route.
