Active Adventure
Offshore big fishing out of the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center for Marlin Tuna and Mahi Mahi. Yellowfin Tuna from April to June with a Mahi mahi mix by mid May. Gaint Bluefin Tuna start about the 3rd week of February, peaking in March. Warmer gulfstream waters in June and July hold school mahi with an occasional Bigeye tuna. Blue Marlin are around from Memorial day to September.
Tournaments are mostly in August for Marlin and Bigeye tuna. Special packages are available since they are multi-day events.

Typical Day
Typical Day starts at 5:30 am and lasts usually until 4:00 pm, unless we fill the box up and decide to come in early to process the fish. We will release billfish and any under sized fish according to limits,laws and regulations set by state and federal laws.
Age range, type of group
Family groups are welcome; however, Sea Note is only permitted for 6 passengers.
Sleeping and meals
There are several local motels that offer discounted rates for charter customers The Quality Inn Nags Head, Owens Motel, Orville and Wilbur Wright Quality Inn and the Sea Ranch Inn. Sam and Omie's, Sugar Creek, Lone Cedar are all good choices for meals. The Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is open early for last minute snacks,coffee and donuts, etc..
Policies & Restrictions
Its a good idea to bring a cooler for drinks and lunches; sandwiches, fried chicken usually are the best choices.
Other Information
Fish cleaning is provided by the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center for 35 cents per pound. Vacuum bagging and freezing is provided at Austin's Fish Market in Nags Head.
