Kalpitiya is about 2.5 Hours from the Airport (120 Kilometers on excellent Carpet Roads.) From Kalpitiya mit is a 10 minute Boat ride or a adventurous 30 Minutes 4WD along the beach on a Sand Bar connecting this Island to the mainland.
