From Sumaré Metro Station: take the Dr. Arnaldo's Exit, turn left on Dr. Arnaldo Avenue and walk untill the corner. Turn left on Cardoso de Almeida Street and walk three minutes more.
GETTING THERE
Guarulhos International Airport
Option 1: Take the Metro Bus Station Tatuapé - North Terminal (line 257 of EMTU) and get off at the last point. Take the Metro sense Barra Funda station and get off at Republic. There, switch to the yellow line train towards Butantã. Follow Consolation station and change trains again, now to the green line, toward the station Vila Madalena. Get off at Station Sumaré. Approximate cost of R$ 9.00 and average 90-110 minutes. Option 2: Airport Bus Service Airport / Avenida Paulista (Paulista destination Circuit Hotels / Augusta - line 316): The bus will leave you close to metro Trianon-MASP. From there, take the subway towards village Magdalene and alight at Station Sumaré. Total cost of approximately R$ 40.00 and average time of 80 to 90 minutes. Option 3: TAXI cost about R$110-120 and the average time is 60 to 120 minutes, depending on traffic.
Congonhas Airport:
Option 1: Take the bus to the metro St. Jude (line 675I). There, take the metro towards Tucuruvi and get off at the station Ana Rosa. Change to Metro Green Line train bound for Vila Madalena Station and get off at Sumaré. Approximate cost of R$ 6.00 and average time of 30 minutes.
Option 2: Taxi will cost about R$ 50 and the average time is 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
BUSES
Portuguesa-Tietê Bus Terminal
Take the metro towards Jabalpur, get off at Paradise Station and change to the Metro Green Line towards Vila Madalena. Get off at Station Sumaré. The duration is approximately 40 minutes and the cost is R$ 3.00. Taxi approximately R$ 50.00.
Bus Barra Funda
Take the metro towards Corinthians-Itaquera Republic to the station. There, switch to the yellow line train towards Butantã. Follow Consolation station and change trains again, now to the green line, toward the station Vila Madalena. Get off at Station Sumaré. Cost R$ 3.00 and average time of 40 minutes. A taxi will cost approximately R$ 25.00 and the average time is 25 minutes.
Metro Sumaré to the Rock Village Hostel:
In Sumaré Station, use the exit by Dr. Arnold Av. Arriving at Avenida Dr. Arnaldo, turn left and walk over the viaduct where one can see the grand Avenida Sumaré below. Ending the overpass continue walking to the corner with Rua Cardoso de Almeida. This is already the street where we are located, turn left and walk for about 4 minutes to get to the hostel.
