Located in the very centre of Madrid, our Hostal is the best option to be very near to all the touristic and culturally important places in our city, such as the \'Art Triangle\' (Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia museums), as well as shopping zones (Carmen, Preciados, or Carretas streets). Of course, we cannot forget other typical madrilian places like the Cibeles square, Mayor square or Puerta del Sol.
Our rooms have all the facilities to make your stay in Madrid the most comfortable. Our Guesthouse has 10 rooms, some of them ensuite some of them with share facilities. All the rooms are equipped with TV, Safety box, central heating, mini fridge, internet, WIFI access. Ceiling fan included in the price.
For 4 euros per night you can have air conditioning in some rooms.

Directions
We are about 30 minutes from the airport in the city centre, so almost all subway and bus lines are really closte to our Guesthouse. Metro: From the airport. You have to get line number 8 to Nuevos Ministerios. Once there, we have to take the train in line number 10 to Alonso Martinez and, finally, take line number 5 in direction to Casa de Campo, and stop in the Gran Via station. Once in Gran Via, you have to take the exit to Hortaleza st. or Montera st. Bus This is also a common way to get to the centre of Madrid from the airport. It consists in a bus which goes from Barajas to Colon square, the problem is that this square is a bit far from the hostal. It is recommendable to get the Metro, a taxi or another bus of the EMT (Local transport company, all the public buses in Madrid)rnrnIn taxi:The main problem of a taxi is its cost. The price just for hiring it is of 1.35 Euros. Approximately, the cost of the trip from the airport to our hostal is of 20-25 Euros depending on the traffic. If the taxi driver tries to charge you more than 30 Euros, it would be a good idea to ask for a bill and take note of the taxi licensem which is a number of 5 digits which is printed in the car. From Atocha Train Station Metro:It is a very short trip, you just have to take line number 1 in direction to Plaza de Castilla, and only 5 stations after Atocha is ours, Gran Via. Bus:Autobus We can take line number 34 in Paseo del Prado in direction to Cibeles, once in this square we can take bus line number 146 and get off in the stop Gran Via- Clavel. Our street can be found crossing Gran Via st. From Chamartin station:Bus The line number 5 of the EMT goes from this station of Chamartin and has a stop very near to the hostal, exactly in the cross between Alcala and Gran Via streets. From this point, you can walk during 5 minutes to get to our Guesthouse.rnrnFrom Estacion Surr Metro:The metro stop of the bus station is called Mendez Alvaro, so you just have to take line number 6 to Pacifico (1 stop only) and finally line number 1 in direction to Plaza de Castilla. Just 7 stops away, you will find Gran Via, which is ours.
