1) To get to Uvita you can travel by car from San Jose, the first access is by the coastal or southern coastal road, taking the route by the new highway to Caldera and then taking to the south through areas such as Manuel Antonio and Quepos to Dominical. Get from there to just 18 miles south, the Marino Ballena National Park. The other option is leaving San Jose on the Panamerican Highway South through Cartago then to Perez Zeledon. From there until Dominical and then the same route to the Ballena Marine Park.
2) By bus, whether traveling from the capital to Perez Zeledon , or from San Jose to Quepos, and then, to Uvita beach.
Costa Rica, Puntarenas, Osa, Bahia Ballena, Uvita, coming in the National Park Marino Ballena, Colonia Area, 300 metres west from the main door.
