Formerly known as Coogan\'s Forge, where horses were shod for over a century, The Forge has been tastefully transformed into a welcoming B&B and family home. Your hosts the O�Connell family were finalists in Failte Ireland\'s Irish Welcome Awards.
The Forge has 3 cosy en-suite guest rooms and secure car parking. All rooms are centrally heated and are equipped with television and broadband internet access. An extensive breakfast menu is served in our cosy dining room and is included in the rates.
The Forge is just 2 minutes from Galway city centre, where there are numerous pubs, shops, clubs, galleries, restaurants and theatres. It is also near University College, Eyre Square and the hospital. Nearby Salthill is a huge attraction, with its beautiful sandy beach and leisure activities.
