Killarney National Park
Local highlights include Killarney's 25,000 acre National Park with it's magical mystical Mountains & Lakes, Muckross Abbey, Muckross House, Ross Castle, Oak Woods, Walks, Trails and Cycle Paths.
Killarney National Park with it's 30,000 acres is Ireland's Premier National Park. Knockreer entrance on our side of Town opposite The Cathedral is the perfect place to stroll, explore and enjoy peace and tranquility away from Buses and Cars. Enjoy a river walk to Ross Castle from here.
No Bus or car is allowed access here.
Day tours are leisurely, most may be driven with your own selfdrive or by simply booking a tour with Kathleen on arrival.
Whichever option you choose, Kathleen will provide you with detailed local maps, sharing her knowledge of her beloved countryside with you to ensure that you have a very enjoyable and memorable stay.

Bus tours are arranged on request to the Gap of Dunloe, Ring of Kerry & Dingle Peninsula with complimentary pick up and drop off from Kathleens.
1. Killarney Lake & Mountain District
The ideal way to enjoy the splendour of Killarney with its world famous lake and mountain district is unquestionably by taking the traditional Gap of Dunloe Day Trip. This must be pre-booked at check in. (Weather permitting.)
2. Ring of Kerry
It is advisable to drive this anti-clockwise from Killarney to enjoy the best views. This drive affords a panoramic journey through some of Ireland's most outstanding scenery.
3. Dingle Peninsula
It is advisable to drive this anti-clockwise from Killarney to enjoy the best views. Return from Dingle over The Conor Pass i i ' Ireland's highest Pass.
4. Beara Peninsula
Kathleens is only 30 mins to Kenmare via the N22 and R569 where you begin the Beara Peninsula tour through magnificent mountains. Enjoy lakes and ocean views in one of Ireland's least populated peninsulas.
