For 37 years Glacier Raft Company has been providing white water rafting trips on the Kicking Horse, and other beautiful rivers around Golden B.C.
We love the water and the thrill it provides and we want to share it with you!
The Kicking Horse river has class 1 - 4 whitewater with three separate canyons that span 32 km.

Typical Day
You meet at the Glacier Raft Company office to get your group checked in and sign waivers.
We'll go through an intro talk and then you'll get all the gear you need to head out on the river.
Depending on the trip you select you'll spend anywhere from 1.5 hours - 5 hours on the river. If you head out in the morning you'll enjoy our riverside BBQ lunch half way through the day.
When your trip finishes we'll shuttle you back to our base where you can have a hot shower and enjoy a complimentary beverage around our fire pit.

We can take a wide age range of rafters on the river.
Children as young as 4 years can enjoy our Family Adventure Trip
Rafters doing our full day and half day tour must be 12 + yrs and at least 90 lbs.
All rafters doing the lower canyon must be 16 + years.

Sleeping and meals
Glacier Raft Company is paired with Whitewater Lodge B&B and we have different Raft & Stay packages.
Many of our rafting trips include a delicious riverside BBQ lunch. Options from the grill include a hamburger, chicken burger, veggie burger or smokie (big hot dog). You can also choose from a buffet of salads, fresh fruits and veggies, chips and dip, etc.

Restrictions
We do not allow pets to stay at our rafting base, but if you let us know we can recommend a nice place for them to spend the day.

Glacier Raft Company offers $10.00 off per person for groups of 8+
For special events such as stags, stagettes, birthdays etc. we offer a free seat for the bride, groom or birthday guest. This applies for groups of 8+ and some conditions may apply depending on the trip selected
We also offer raft and stay packages, with a 10% discount being applied to both the raft and stay
