We offer comfortable accommodation in reformed village houses with good healthy local food in a friendly and inclusive environment. Our holidays are about exploring hidden Spain, introducing others to the local culture, history, architecture and gastronomy.
Typical Day
Maro & Canyons
This exhilarating walk of around 5 hours commences in the picturesque seaside village of Maro. Within 5 minutes of the village the path enters a narrow canyon which is lush with mixed vegetation and trees. After an hour or so the path climbs steeply through sweetly smelling Rosemary, Thyme, Lemon Thyme, Lavender and Gorse to a ruined farmhouse. There are few more memorable picnic sites than the threshing circle, with stunning views of the sea and mountains behind. The descent is though a pine forest, followed by a second canyon lined with Eucalyptus trees.
Evening : Andalucia Banquet at Maria's Cortijo
