Built in the local traditional style, the delightful, 3 stars Samaina Port hotel lies in Karlovassi harbour. The Hotel was opened in 1992. Situated just a few steps from the cafes and restaurants on the waterfront, it commands a panoramic view of the port and its daily routine.

The settlement of Karlovassi is the second largest town of Samos with a population of about 5500 inhabitants. It is situated on the north-west part of the island. On leaving Samos Airport head west 10.5 km and the slightly turn left at Pyrgou-Choras. After 3.8 km continue on Karlovasou-Pyrgou next 20 km (all the way to the sea). Turn left and after approximately 2 km you will get to the hotel.
