SANTORINI ATTRACTIONS Prehistoric Thera â€" At the southern tip of the island this is undoubtedly the best-preserved and most important sites on the island. You will come away here with an insight into the culture of Santorini.Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni â€" Are the two small islands in the middle of the bay of Quarter moon shaped Santorini born from volcanic activity around 2000 years ago make these Greece’s baby islands. Worth a trip over to view the solidified lava flows.Archaeological Museum â€" Located in the island’s capital of Fira is a fascinating collection of exhibits mainly from the site in Thera. Many works of art as well as sculpture are to be found here.The Wine Museum â€" Santorini is world famous for it’s wines, and this museum is housed in a winery owned by the Koutsoyiannopoulos (try saying that after a few glasses of red) family. The history of the areas wine is very well explained.

In the southern part of the island is located the famous black beach named Perissa, which is 9 kilometers far from the center of Santorini. Pension Evelina is located 50 meters from the sea in the busiest beach of the island in Perissa with furnished rooms, individual bathroom, refrigerator, satellite linked color tv, roof ventilation, double and single beds, porches and hot water. Additionally (upon request) there is air-conditioning and fully equipped kitchen. We can also help you find a car or moped rental at very affordable prices. Pension Evelina is located in the center of this beach area next to tourist shops, super market, travel agencies, restaurants and very close to the bus station where you can visit the islands' villages, like the traditional Emporio with its Venetian castle, the volcano, the Akrotiri the ancient town that remained untouched hundreds of years under the lava, Oia with the most beautiful sunshine and the Fira with the famous kaldera view. Along the beach (over 3 kilometers length) there are famous beach bars (Chilli-Yazz etc.), outdoor discotheque, coffee places as well as taverns, restaurants and tourist shops. All the tourists can join daily the black sand, water sports (jet ski, water cycling), beach volley, diving, balloon, and excursions in the volcano and in the near islands.

How you can get from port to our pension???

we are totally 6,9 km from the port how you can get at our pension???

when you get out from the shipyou will take the road 3,4 km straight untill you see the first cross …left goes to thira (fira or thira) and right to emporio megalochori-akrotiri-perissa… straight untill you see the first cross …left go to thira (fira or thira)and right to emporio megalochori-akrotiri-perissa turn right & take the road for perisa....

** tip : when you pass the athinios cross take the road for emporio and perissa dont turn everywhere untill you come at perissa town..

at 400 m approximatelly you will see the megalochori village…you will pass the village and after 1 km aproximatelly you will see the cross road that at the right hand side drive to akrotiri....be careful to don’t turn to akrotiri to akrotiri.
after 1 km aproximatelly you will see the cross road that at the right hand side drive to akrotiri....be careful to don’t turn to akrotiri you will continued the direct course and after 3,6 km approximatelly you will see the emporio village ...you continued (you slopes straight down) to perissa (dont turn left to get in the village!!!) ..


after 1,2 km (approximattely )at the right hand side you will see a big s/m after you will see the then a bakery with a baker dummy outside after youth hostel after you will see a big yard with some cows and horses- all at the right side -and then you will see many travel agencies ..

at the santosun tourist office and beside a small tourist shop at the corner with a small mini market under the tree you will see hanged on this tree our name plate … turn right before the mini market

at this slip road driving to the beach localized the pension evelina.

we are the second building opposite of the mini market.
