The hotel Avra is located in Palio Faliro close to the port of Pireus. Hotel Avra has started offering its services again, having been fully renovated and equipped. Its location favors your moving in and out of the city since the new Tram is just 3 minutes away and Piraeus and the Metro only 10 minutes away. Though the hotel is on a quiet side-street, every room has a view of the sea and the ferries passing on their way to the islands. The coast is a continuous series of beaches and seaside cafes and restaurants, easily accessible from the hotel and there are a number of tavernas and quiet cafes in the tree-lined neighbourhood. Also nearby is the Stadium of Peace and Friendship, the Averoff Battleship Museum, Zea Marina where you can catch the Flying Dolphins to the Saronic Gulf islands, and a number of clubs and entertainment facilities on the coast, which is quite lively in the summer months when activity moves from the city center to the cool seaside areas.

- Take bus number X96 towards Piraeus to the Flisvos stop. From there hotel is 10 minutes' by walk.
- Alternatively, from Flisvos, you can take the tram towards SEF and walk down to the Park of Flisvos stop. Hotel Avra is just opposite the tram stop.
By Train (from Piraeus port):
- From the railway station, which is located just opposite the port, take the train towards Neo Faliro. <
-Walk down to Neo Faliro and from there take the tram towards Athens or Glyfada and walk down to Park of Flisvos.
