In the exclusive garden district of Lille : a house of luxury.
Le Jardin d'Alix is located in the garden district of Lille, the house stands in the midst of a huge garden with mature trees and many flowers. Your hostess is a dual citizen french and american.
The house is furnished with antiques and many oil paintings. The Matisse suite includes a bedroom, a bathroom, and a seperate living room with television set, video, and a small library. The Vuillard room has a balcony overlooking the garden, and a bathroom with shower and bathtub. All accomodations are luxurious. Wifi equipment.
The fees include a gourmet breakfast with home made jams and pastries. The nearby tramway takes you downtown Lille within 15 minutes, and there are parking facilities off the street.

Children are welcome, but please contact the owner in advance to advise us in advance when checking in along with baby children

Arrivals are only between 15hrs and 22hrs at the latest, breakfasts only until 10 am, and that checking out time is 11 am.
The train stops at Lille Europe or Lille Flandres, and there is a direct tramway to the house.

If you drive here ….
When leaving Lille, the avenue is called avenue de la République, and first crosses the town of La Madeleine, then that of Marcq en Baroeul, where you will have to take the Tourcoing direction. You will then go through the towns of Wasquehal and Mouvaux. When in Mouvaux, in front of the restaurant "la Courtepaille", you have to take the lane on the right hand side, and to drive straight ahead, past the Mairie de Mouvaux, and past the huge mansion of VOG. We are located 4 houses after that, right at the sign that indicates Tourcoing, there you will see "chambres d'hôtes" (bed and breakfast). We are at the end of the right hand lane.
For those who take the tramway from the train station …
You need to get on the tramway direction Tourcoing, and get off at the Ma Campagne stop. Then you need to cross the small lane, and cross again the larger lane with a stop light (rue Ma Campagne). You will see a large blue house, and you have to walk past it, as if you were going back to Lille. We are 8 houses above the blue house.
I do a lot of gardening, and when I'm out, I cannot here the door bell. In that case, if you call me at 03 20 36 72 08 or 06 70 72 88 78, I'll know you've arrived, and I'll be able to let you in.
