A lovingly restored and cared for Tudor style mansion built in 1920 that is furnished with antique furniture is the setting at the River Gate Inn. Full, hot breakfasts are served in the formal dining room or in the sunroom when weather permits. The deck provides a cozy relaxing spot to dry off from the heated outdoor pool! Huge Cottonwood and Elm trees, flowers, vegetation and even wildlife provide a setting hard to find in any major city! Rare owls, raccoons, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, butterflies and birds of all types are sometimes sighted on the property. Perhaps make arrangements for a Bar-B-Que on the deck? Or play billiards on rainy days. In the winter, sip on some cocoa in front of the fireplace or grab a book from the library and cuddle up in one of the chairs. All of our rooms vary but most have ensuite bathrooms and some have jacuzzi tubs. Two rooms share a bathroom and it is ideal for a family or two couples travelling together. Some rooms have pull out couches for additional sleeping space when required. King down to twin beds and even a canopy bed. Whatever you are looking for, it's here! Of course, a full hot breakfast is served and coffee, tea, water, hot chocolate, cookies/cake, microwave and fridge are available 24 hours a day.

We are a non-smoking establishment, do not take pets and children are welcomed but are the parents responsibility. We ask that late arrivals (after 8) or early arrivals (before 4) make arrangements with prior notification. Other than that, we expect you to enjoy yourself and create some of your memories!
