Nordegg, Alberta is located on the Eastern Slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and is surrounded by the last unprotected forested wilderness in Canada. A spectacular destination for lovers of the great outdoors, there are hundreds of trails for hiking, ATV's and horseback riding. Many streams, creeks, rivers and lakes where you can go fishing. There are breathtaking views from the local peaks and lots of opportunities for scenic and wildlife photography.
Vacation Rental Property
Cabins are self-catering, self-housekeeping and self contained units. We do not offer daily maid service and guests are required to wash their dishes and to clean up any messes made in their cabin before departure. Cabins are exceptionally clean as we strive to provide ideal accommodation for the regular traveler as well as travelers who suffer from severe/life threatening allergies or are undergoing medical treatment and need to be in clean, germ free environments.
Amenities
All cabins have private 3 piece bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens with full size appliances (no dishwashers), wood burning stoves and electric heat, Satellite TV, DVD and CD players, private covered deck and propane BBQ's. A large DVD library is located in the office and movies are free to borrow. There is a large communal fire pit area with benches and picnic tables. We also have several hiking trail books of the area that we lend to interested guests and there is a selection of one of a kind woodcarvings and stained glass artwork for sale in the office. There are also trails maps for those guests with off-highway vehicles and ATV's. There are no telephones and only Telus, Bell and Rogers clients are able to receive cellular service in the area. We provide all firewood and propane.

The Chickadee cabin is a 1 bedroom unit that can sleep 2. The Owl cabin is a 2 bedroom unit that can sleep up to 4 people. Both The Rosy Finch and The Raven are open floor plan cabins and are ideal for singles or couples looking for a romantic getaway.
Policies & Restrictions
Cabins and property are for registered guests only, there is a strict "No Visitors" policy in effect as we value our guest's privacy and safety. We do not allow more than the posted occupancy in the cabins nor do we allow extra guests to stay on the property in tents, trailers, etc. Cabins are strictly non-smoking but ashtrays are provided on each deck. We welcome dogs only (max 2 dogs) at an additional charge of $20 per dog per night. Check in is absolutely no earlier than 4 PM. All early arrivals will be turned away and told to vacate the property until 4 PM. Arrangements must be made at least 72 hours in advance for check-ins later than 9 PM.
