Join a multi-sport adventure travel trip in Patagonia, Chile with H2O Patagonia, and you'll enjoy rafting in Chile on the Futaleufu River, hiking, canyoning, and horseback riding in Patagonia. If you are a multi-adventure enthusiast, a trip to Futaleufu is a must!
Patagonia is second to none in South American adventure travel: each day you choose between horseback riding on the old pioneer trails of the region, canyoning in the spectacular Gelves and Palenque Canyons, whitewater rafting on the Futaleufu River, paddling inflatable kayaks on tributaries, hiking through the Chilean rain forest, or climbing sections of the Andes Mountains.
In between one adventure and another, guests can enjoy relaxing moments sitting in the hot tub and taking in the view of the majestic Futaleufu River, receiving a massage from one of the on-site massage therapists or simply reading a book by the fire in the Patagonia style quincho.
These rapids are big and exciting on the Futaleufu, class III-IV, but consider today a warm-up for the whitewater to come. After rafting, you'll return to base camp where the activity options abound: kayak on the lake, relax in the hot tub, trek to the top of nearby ridges, or simply enjoy appetizers and drinks at the riverside bar.
At Antucamay, our 175-acre riverside ranch in Patagonia, you'll live in concert with the calming rhythms of the Futaleufu Valley. At night, you'll sleep in a bungalow nestled in the lush terraces overlooking the Futaleufu River. Each offers its own terrace complete with armchairs where you can sit and enjoy the incredible vistas. Inside the bungalow, you will find a level of comfort unmatched by any other adventure outfitter in the region. Foam pads with sleeping bags are replaced by plush beds with down comforters, feather pillows and supple sheets. Crowded spaces are replaced by bedside tables, storage areas for your personal belongings, and plenty of room to stretch your adventurous muscles. In the morning, you can slip into one of the soft organic cotton robes that are provided for your stay.
The Quincho, or dining area, offers dramatic views of the river and the surrounding valley. It is in the quincho where the meals are offered and the guests are treated to an exquisite cuisine prepared by our international chef. Because Antucamay believes in a healthier lifestyle and a healthier planet, we do our best in providing quality dining where most of the vegetables and greens come from our gardens and greenhouses.
