We're located in the city centre, a 20 minute walk from Central Station and a 2 minute walk from the Schiphol airport bus stop. Most of the main tourist attractions are within walking distance and there is a tram and bus stop just 100 metres around the corner
Shelter Jordan has single-sex rooms with 4, 5, 6, 8 and 18 beds. The larger dorms are divided into smaller sections to provide the privacy you'd like. Compared with our sister hostel in Amsterdam, Shelter City, Shelter Jordan is smaller (98 beds), is cosy, and is located in a quieter part of the city centre.
Our location in the quiet and picturesque Jordaan area makes it easy to explore Amsterdam. The hostel is close to the Anne Frank house, Leidse square and Dam square.

Directions
From the airport:From the airport you take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. This takes approximately 15 minutes. When you get to CS, you walk outside the station and you will find trams. The following trams will take you straight to the hostel: tramline 1, 2, 5, 13 and 17 stop right in front of the door.The stop is called ` Nieuwezijds Kolk' you will find the hostel on the right side of the street on nr. 92. A single ticket costs you 2.60 euro.To walk there:You get out of the station. Walk over to the Victoria Hotel. When you are in front of the hotel, you turn right and go into the first big street on the left. Walk down that street and you will find the hostel on the right hand side, nr. 92.
