Fly in a floatplane fifty airmiles southwest of Kodiak City on Kodiak Island National Wildlife Refuge. Our lodge has a 3500 foot mountain behind it and a mile wide bay in front with another mountain across. Beautiful scenery with the Zachar River a short boat ride and under an hour hike along game trails to the first fishing hole.
Full day away from the lodge. Experienced Guides. About 9 am go out in the boat for ocean fishing, or go hiking on a game trail to fish on a river or fly in a floatplane.
Large dining hall, sauna on the beach, satellite tv in dining hall. We have 11 guests rooms, each room has 2 single beds. There are 2 bedrooms with a bathroom between off the dining hall. There is a 4 bedroom house with a living room and 2 bathrooms. We have a duplex guest house with two private bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Another guest house has 3 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom. We provide daily room cleaning with clean towels. A converted herring processing plant in the 30's and later a salmon cannery, the buildings have been converted to comfortable accommodations. The docks and cannery buildings are used for our boats and cleaning fish. Our dining hall is spacious and has long tables and benches where the cannery workers ate. We have satellite tv, a living room area, and a buffet where we serve meals. There is a bath house with washers and a dryer. We have our own generators
