L'enclos is situated in the beautiful countryside of perigord/dordogne region just 25 minutes from Perigueux and 5 minutes from chateau hautefort. The formersummer home of the Compte de Souffron is over 250 years old and comprises of many historic buildings many of which have been converted to dwellings for rent. Though we are surrounded by farmland in a tranquil setting we are just minutes from shopping, restaurants, and tousrist attractions.

7 private independent cottages--two with full kitchens. Two are situated in the former village chapel and village bakery. These are beautifully resored stone cottages which are over 250 years old. The retoration has been done to the finest standards and the decoration is lovely. All cottages are rated 4 star by the French government.
There is a lovely swimming pool overlooking 4 hectares of landscaped grounds.

All cottages have outdoor sitting areas and many have private terraces.

We serve breakfast in our home as well as meals and also provide room service for light meals in the evening.

Children welcomed over 12 years of age. Our cottages are non smoking as well as our home. Smoking is allowed on the property outdoors.
