I offer for example tours of Lisbon; Mafra, that extravagant baroque and neoclassical monument covering 10 hectares; Sintra, the world heritage site and one of Lord Byron's haunts; plus Queluz, a rococo Versailles look-alike palace with mirrored hall. The best part, it is up to you. The culturally minded get their fill, guests who like to soak up the ambiance of the city can "hang out" in the cafe society of the town. When you are tired you rest, if you want to shop I take you where you will get the best bargains.

Pop into St.Vincent's church, follow the antique tram line to view Lisbon's great natural harbour before walking up the castle hill for a view over the city, the bridge and the 1959 statue of Christ the King right accross the other side of the river. Lunch on grilled scabbard fish in a restaurant used by the locals. Visit the richest chapel in Europe decorated with lapis and rich marbles.
