The beautiful village of Camden, where the mountains meet the sea, is just outside the door. Stay in one of the homey guest rooms in the Inn, or perhaps you'd prefer the added privacy and luxury of one of our carriage houe suites. Whichever you choose, it will be warm and welcoming. After a good night's sleep, you'll greet the moring as you enjoy a sumptuous breakfast on the sunporch. Whether your plans call for an overnight, an extended visit, or that special romantic weekend, we'll do all that we can to help make your stay at the Blue Harbor House a truly memorable one. Suites in the inn or carriage house include whirlpool bath or antique soak tub, gas fireplace. All guest rooms and suites have TV/VCR, air conditioning, telephone.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the sunporch. Dinner is available with advance reservation, one seating at 7:00 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Steamed Maine lobster is a speciality of the Inn. Evening turndown service is also provided.
For the comfort and safety of our guests, smoking is not permitted in the Inn. The Inn is not suitable for children under the age of 12. A two night minimum stay required in July and August, holiday weekends and weekends in September and October. Traveling with your pet? Please call to inquire. Check-in begins at 3 PM and continues to 6 PM. Arrangements must be made for late arrival. Check-out is at 11 AM.
FROM THE SOUTH: Take Exit 6A off the Maine turnpike to Interstate 295, which joins Interstate 95 just north of Portland. A few miles north of Freeport, take Exit 22, "Coastal Route 1, Brunswick." Continue north on Route 1, through Waldoboro. Six miles past Waldoboro, turn left onto Route 90 and follow it for ten miles until it rejoins Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue for two miles toward Camden. The Blue Harbor House is on your left as you come into town.
FROM THE NORTH: Follow Route 1 south to Camden and continue through the center of town. As you start up the hill at the southern end of town, the Blue Harbor House is on your right.
