Whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River in beautiful southeast Tennessee. Features class III and IV whitewater. No experience is necessary for our Ocoee rafting adventures as a trained guide accompanies each raft. Minimum age to participate is 12 years of age.
The Middle Ocoee Trip is 5 miles of the most continuous class III/IV whitewater in the U.S.; it runs through the beautiful Cherokee National Forest where you will experience the thrill of over 17 major rapids providing miles of big waves and fun. Plan 4 hours from check-in to departure with approx. 2 hours on the river. This section is available on Saturdays and Sundays in April plus Memorial Day Monday; everyday except Tuesdays and Wednesday in June, July and August; all Saturdays and Sundays in September and October plus Labor Day Monday.
The Upper Ocoee Trip is 5 miles of class III/IV whitewater and runs through the 1996 Olympic whitewater competition course. This section offers great scenery and of course big whitewater! Plan 4.5 hours from check-in to departure with approx. 1 hour 45 minutes on the river. This trip is available on select Saturdays July and August. For large groups other days may be arranged.
The Full River Trip combines both the Upper & Middle sections of the Ocoee for a world-class whitewater adventure. You will be treated to a fantastic riverside lunch served next to Humongous, one of the largest rapids on the river. Lunch includes 4 deli meats, cheeses & breads with all the trimmings to create your own sandwiches, along with peel-n-eat shrimp, fresh fruit, chips, cookies & drinks. A snack and bottled water are available after your trip. Plan 7 hours with us from check-in to departure with approx. 5 hours on the river. This trip is available on May 14, 21, 28, 29; all Saturdays and Sundays in June, July and August; September 3, 4, 10 and 17.
