Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest unbroken caldera which harbors a considerable number of wild animals. It is situated inside the conservation area, in fact, it is the only conservation in the world where visitors are likely to see all of the Big Five in their natural environment within the span of four hours’ drive.
Pick up at the hotel/home in Arusha with picnic lunch boxes at 0730hrs and drive straight for Ngorongoro Crater tour. This park is located about 180km away from the city. Arrive in Ngorongoro late morning and descend to the crater floor where you will be able to sport wild animals relaxing in the open. Apart from the Big five, you will be able to spot many other species of animals such as wildebeest, Zebras, Elephants and prolific birds. Take Pictures and during the afternoon you will have your picnic lunch at the picnic site. Afterward, do an afternoon game drive and then by late afternoon you will be driving back to Arusha town.
