You will be picked up from your residence or hotel at 730am for the Masai Mara. After a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point, you will continue your journey through the hemingways trail to get into Masai Mara well in time for your first game drive. After breakfast on day 2, you will proceed for a full day game drive in search of the big five in Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight is at the camp for days 1 and 2. Day 3 go for a pre-breakfast game drive, then depart for Nairobi.
You will be picked up from your hotel at 7.30am and proceed on to Masai Mara with a brief stop over at the Great Rift Valley view point. Lunch and use of the bathrooms will be at the only town between Nairobi and Masai Mara called Narok. After unpacking, you will proceed for your first game drive. Depart the campsite just after breakfast for your full day of exploring Masai Mara. You will have high chances of spotting the big five. During the migration period there are high chances of seeing one of the greatest wonders of the world, the wildebeest migration. Dinner and overnight are at the camp.
Day 2: Masai mara
After breakfast you will proceed on to a full day game drive of Masai Mara where you will have a great chance of seeing the big five (lions, Buffalos, leopards, rhino, elephant). Masai Mara is known for its large numbers of wild animals. There is a particularly dramatic spectacle from July to November when the annual migration of huge herds of Gnus and zebras cross through the reserve. You will visit the crossing point of the gnus and have a picnic lunch along the banks of the Mara river in full view of the crocs and hippos. After lunch, proceed with the game drive and arrive back at the camp for a well deserved shower. Dinner and overnight is at the camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi
Go for a pre-breakfast game drive in hopes of seeing a lion kill or a hunt. The game drive will be followed by breakfast and a visit to a cultural village for those interested (optional). Lunch once again will be at Narok town and then proceed to Nairobi. We will drop off those going to Lake Nakuru at the safari junction. You will arrive in Nairobi in the evening and be dropped off at your respective hotels or at the airport.
Rates are per person and exclude the international flight from/to your home country. This tour accepts children of all ages. Children under 11 receive a discount.
