Situated on a working 75-acre farm one hour from the French Quarter of New Orleans, Splendor Farms offers comfortable, family-friendly B&B accommodations in a relaxed country farm setting. We have 3 Guest Bedrooms, a Guest Bunkhouse, a Guest Cabin and RV, Swimming Pool, Horseback Riding, Dachshund Kennel, Petting Farm, and nearby hiking, biking, and nature trails. Just 1/4 mile up the road is the scenic Bogue Chitto River, where you can go horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, tubing, or just have a picnic and enjoy all the nature surrounding you.

Our three guest bedrooms are just a few steps away from our salt water swimming pool. The poolside area has a deck with plenty of lounge chairs, as well as a covered cabana with picnic table and hammocks. Perfect place for lunch or just to hang out and relax. In addition to our guest bedrooms we have a guest cabin, bunkhouse, and RV!

Ideal for adult couples or singles, our QUEENS SUITE has a queen-size bed,
private bath, and private deck with gazebo attached. Ideal for adult couples or singles, LA LOUISIANE has a queen-sized bed, private bath, and private entrance from the patio by the pool. Our most spacious bedroom. The newly renovated PONDEROSA has a cowboy/cowgirl/indian theme, double bed, full bath, and private entrance from the patio by the pool. It's a perfect room to get away from it all as it has a private screen
porch overlooking the patio and pool.

Local activities/attractions: Nearby Pontchartrain Vineyards has wine tastings year round, and outdoor jazz concerts every Saturday during Spring and Fall. Also nearby: Insta-Gator Alligator Farm, Abita Brewery/Brewpub, Covington Farmer's Market, Global Wildlife Center, restaurants, antique shops, and more.

We can accommodate guest pets and livestock. Limit 2 pets. Guest pets must be crated when you are not in your room, and on a leash when on the grounds. Consumption of alcohol is permitted. Smoking is allowed, but only outdoors. No walk-ins, please.
