Peak Performance Bouancy-[$99] This skill is critical to master for any diver. Bouancy control helps you use less air, exert less energy, can help you avoid dangers and avoid hurting the environment. It is the symbol of a skilled diver. By the end of this specialty training you should be able to exhibit bouyancy skills to instructor demo quality.
Navigation-[$99] This specialty will cover exacting coordinates, maps, bearings, headings, direction, understanding compass use, variances and more. By the end of this course you will be able to master a virtual maze underwater.
Deep Diving-[$159] Includes academics the physics of pressure at depth, 3 main gas laws, purpose, planning, problems, hazards, preparation, emergency prcedures, depth limits, decompression precedures, dive table review, altitude diving, history of decompression& hyperbaric chambers, will also include a 2 tank dive 60-90ft.
Low Vision/Night Diving-[$159] with boat dive or $89 for shore dive] Enter a magical realm and experience an entirely new world than you have ever seen diving in the day time. This specialty course includes a 2 tank boat dive or a 1 tank shore dive in West Palm Beach. We cover the academics and safety of low vision diving along with equipment needed, purpose, planning, marine life differences and behaviors and so much more. This is an extremly fun specialty for all!
Underwater Environment-[$99] This course is to expose the diver to the physical and biological aspects of the diving environment with emphasis on the local area. This course will draw much of the subject material from related sciences: oceaongraphy, limnology, geology, biology and ecology. The use of movies, academics, slides and handouts includes a trip to a local aquarium. This course is highly reccomended for Junior Divers or anyone interested in Marine Biology
Search & Recovery Diving-[$99] This course covers underwater naviation basics, limited visibility diving, search methods, search patterns, procedures and equipment and light salvage and recover methods
Wreck Diving (External Survey)-[$99] This course includes a wreck dive in West Palm Beach off the Sandy's Sunday and covers hazards, preparation, marine life on wrecks and wreck navigation
Underwater Ecology/Ecologist-[$289] This includes coral basics including bleaching, behaviors, protection, coral planting, basic fish identification and behavior understanding, manatee review, dangers and protection, aquatic eco and pollution issues and prevention and protective measures, project aware program. This course includes academics, one-day boat dive on a coral reef system, a manatee snorkel/swim in Crystal River and one-night shore dive lake or ocean
Underwater Archaeologist [$99] This course includes archival research methods, site mapping and sketching, use of marker buoys, setting baseline and artifact cataloging techniques as well as diving safety, hazards and cautions of underwater archeology diving. Also information regarding local, regional and national laws governing submerged archeological sites and diver access and laws
Underwater Photography [$99] This is a really fun course where you can learn about light, photography, marine life basics, refraction, diffusion, backscatter, camera basics such as strobes, lenses, macro, flash, slaves, underwater housings and depth ratings, an underwater digital camera is required for this course. We do carry the Intova 12 megapixel digital camera, housing, flash and 1MG SD card for only $312. Or we have a complete SeaLife package with strobes and handle that is 12mp as well with several lenes and housing and it is only $950 for the package, both are fantastic and economical underwater cameras we highly recommend.
