Surrounding Area
We are located in the beautiful Gunnison/Crested Butte Valley. World class fishing on the Taylor River, the East River, the Gunnison River, and the Blue Mesa reservoir (the largest body of water in the state!!). Hiking, biking, jeeping, are all also amazing. Endless nature abounds. Also, great restaurants and shops in boith Gunnison and Crested Butte. We are a quick drive to the Black Canyon as well!!

RV Park
Tall Texan RV Park and Cabins has been in operation for over 50 years. We are located in Gunnison/Crested Butte Valley, 2 miles north of downtown Gunnison, and 25 miles south of Crested Butte. We provide RV Sites, Cabins, Conestogo Wagons (Glamping) and Tent Sites. We have clean & well-maintained restrooms & showers, laundry facilities, propane services, a dump station, and a lodge with limited food and beverage items available for purchase. We have excellent wireless internet throughout the property.
We are kid friendly and have a nice playground for the little ones. We are also a quick walk to the Gunnison river, so fishing is at our doorstep!!
We offer seasonal (May – Oct), monthly, weekly, and daily rentals. Our cabins are fully equipped, in fact we rent them monthly as well as they are more than adequate to live in!! New this year are our Conestoga Wagons!! The wagons are outfitted with premium bedding, pillows, towels, and offer the finest “Glamping” experience.

Our Large Cabins sleep four guests. These cabins have a separate bedroom with queen size bed, full bathroom, full kitchen, and a dining room / living room combo with queen sofa sleeper.
The One Room Cabins sleep up to five, has a double bed with over head bunk, and a set of bunk beds. These cabins have a kitchenette, bathroom (shower and toilet only). Call for details regarding pets.

Services Offered
Full service RV sites. All have 30/50 amp electrical service, water, and sewer. We have the best internet in Gunnison. Our cabins are fully equipped as well. Just bring your food and drinks!!
