Smáhýsi Cottages are the best way to stay when visitng North West Iceland.
Each cottage can sleep upto 5 people and have their own Living Room complete with sofa and tv, Dining Room with table and chairs, Kitchen with all utensils and natural geothermal power shower in the Bathroom!

Sleeping comes curtsey of a 3 man bunk bed (double below and single above) and a 2 man sofa bed, perfect for friends or family to share.

So if you want to be self-sufficient, flexible and independent on your travels, but have a comfort level above a tent without the cost of a hostel or hotel Smáhýsi Cottages are the way to go!

Directions

From the Route 1 road follow signposts for Hvammstangi. Once in the village follow the campsite sign posts up above the town where you will see your chalet waiting for you.
