Our 250 year old Georgian farmhouse on a working tillage and beef farm is situated close to the market town of Athy in the heart of South Kildare.

An intimate hideaway Moate Lodge offers a relaxing, slower pace of life with the opportunity to unwind in our peaceful garden or to walk through our working farm. Personal attention is given to all guests and our drawing room features log fires where guests are treated to complementary home baked scones and strawberry jam. You are also welcome to enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner in our dining room where the cuisine is based on fresh local produce

Directions

Moate Lodge is approximately 7 km from the town of Athy in Co. Kildare off the N78.

From Dublin travel south bound to the N7. This leads on to the M7 exit, then on to the M9 and then on to the R418 (formerly the N78). Exactly 16 km from the junction in Kilcullen you will come to a crossroads. Our sign is on the left but you take the right as indicated. Take the next right and we are the two storey house on the left. Look out for the signposts
