Ocean Reef Guesthouse, established in January 2010, is a laid back and cozy hostel in Taganga. We offer clean, safe and family run accommodation and offer rooms at rates that will suit your budget and comfort. Life is short - travel more!
The Ocean reef guesthouse has 2 dorm rooms available: 4 beds and 6 beds with fan and 3 shared bathrooms. We also have 1 private type: double bed with private bathroom and air conditioning.
Bed sheets, linen and towels are provided for all rooms.
We have a big backyard with BBQ for hammocks, and car parking for caravans or motorbikes. We are located reasonably close to the main areas in the bay, trips and tours can be booked at our reception.

By taxi from the airport will cost $30,000 pesos ($35,000 pesos at night), we can fix it for you sending a taxi driver we trust in, just send us an email!
By bus:
the first bus will take you as far as 'Carrera 5ª' in the centre of Santa Marta and take a second bus to Taganga. Buses run every 10 minutes from 6:00 am until 9:00 pm.
A taxi from the bus station will cost between 10.000 and 15.000 pesos. Establish a price before you get in to avoid any misunderstanding later!
For $1200 pesos you can take a bus from the bus station direct to Taganga. If you are in the Center of Santa Marta you can walk to the Carrera 5ª and catch a bus Calle 17 Taganga. The taxi is $7.000 pesos, $8.000 at night. we are ubicated just right behind the futbol pitch.
