Built in 1899, Banting House Inn is a green refuge in the city.
Common areas include living room, dining room, kitchen and patio.
The inn offers seven guest rooms with air conditioning, robes, cable TV, alarm clock radio, free towel service and complimentary shampoo/soap. There's a daily home-cooked breakfast made to order, as well as newspapers.
With the loving help of family and friends we have lightened and brightened the interior rooms and have included all new beds, mattresses, sheets, towels and pillows.
Combined with authentic Canadian artwork, period pieces, new furniture and accessories the house is beginning to feel light bright, airy and new, while keeping the warm charm you come to expect from Banting House Inn.
Guests will be surrounded by genuine Canadian history, enjoying an eclectic mix of artistic pieces and modern technology with access to the in house iPad and laptop for guest use, along with wireless internet access throughout the house.
All our rooms reflect the wonderful Canadian landscapes that Dr. Frederick Banting came to love and later capture in his paintings, inspiring many to share the beauty in various art forms including the famous Group of Seven and now the establishment at your Banting House Inn.
