Dieskirt Farm is situated in a peaceful, tranquil and rural setting on a 350 acre sheep farm nestled at the foot of Glenariffe Mountain and alongside the Glenariffe River. It has its own private walks with spectacular views of the Antrim coast and Scottish Hills making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. It offers homely accommodation, and an excellent breakfast and of course great hospitality.
A 700 metre walk up the farm lane will take you into the heart of Glenariffe Forest Park with its magnificent waterfalls and many scenic walks and where you will be able to enjoy a meal at Laragh Lodge an awarding winning restaurant beside the waterfalls. Gary the proprietor will be happy to serve you either bar snacks, as well a full a la carte menu or maybe just enjoy a glass of wine or beer after a nice walk.
Directions
From Belfast M2 northbound take exit for Ballymena/Coleraine A26
On A26 exit junction 11 follow signs for Cushendall A43 and Glenariffe Forest Park.
On A43 after the village of Cargan bear right at sign for Waterfoot and Glenariffe Forest Park.
Stay on A43, go past Forest Park and approx. one and a half miles you will see our sign for Dieskirt farm and Laragh Lodge restaurant. Head down Glen Road and follow our signs. The B & B is approx 700 metres up the Forest Lane.
