Ferrycarrig Lodge is quite literally steeped in local folklore, having been built from the locally felled pitch pine timbers of the old Wexford Bridge, which straddled the River Slaney a hundred years ago. Many of the exposed beams visible at the Lodge once formed part of the bridge.
A Failte Ireland Four Star Bed and Breakfast with breathtaking views of the River Slaney, local woodland and green fields, we offer a relaxed, friendly and tranquil atmosphere that you’ll never want to leave behind. Whether staying for a week or just overnight on the way to or from Rosslare Harbour, Ferrycarrig Lodge presents a picture-postcard perspective of Ireland that will stay with you forever.
Directions
From Dublin go through Enniscorthy - N11 route, 15 mins from Enniscorthy town you pass Ferrycarrig Hotel on the left. Go over bridge, take first left, follow the road underneath the railway bridge, first house on right.
