Nicola welcomes guests to his Italian family home in Negrar, near Verona , Lake Garda and the Dolomite mountains. We offer accommodation in a large double/triple room with private bathroom and its own little garden. Two children or another adult can sleep in the extra bed. The room is comfortable and warm in Winter, and so cool in Summer that air conditioning is not necessary.

Studded in a Veronese hillside and provided with access at TWO different levels thanks to its unique layout, our cosy B&B is a perfect retreat in the heart of interesting excursion areas.

When you arrive, you'll hardly see our house surrounded by olive trees and jasmines.
Car parking near the house is available at no extra charge. Guests can have breakfast in their room, or in the comfortable living-room upstairs, and in the garden in summer while enjoying a gorgeous view on the valley.

Negrar is a traditional old little town in one of the beautiful valleys in the Valpolicella area. The town centre is ten minutes\' walk from the house, the same as the bus-stop to Verona. On Mondays a lively market attracts a lot of people also from areas around. The production of 'Valpolicella', \'Amarone\' and \'Recioto\' wines have made the area well-known all over the world, but it's also interesting for the many ancient Venetian Villas, ancient churches, and country houses. We are happy to recommend a small winery producing high quality Valpolicella and Amarone wine, where our guests can have a wine-tasting.
Negrar is only 10 km from Verona , one of the oldest and most beautiful towns in all of Italy. In addition to visiting the sites of this lovely city, people have the opportunity during the summer months to see a variety of shows, operas and concerts of modern and classical music that take place in the impressive settings of Arena di Verona ( the Roman amphitheatre) and Teatro Romano. We'll also welcome people visiting Verona\'s Trade Fairs, including the world-famous Vinitaly in April, the International Exhibition of Marble, Stone and Technology, the International Horse Fair in November and the Agriculture Fair in February.

We'll be glad to arrange very special GUIDED VISITS for our guests with an Art Historian, who will take them to discover a secret Verona out of usual touristic itineraries.
We live less than half an hour from Lake Garda, with its wonderful landascapes, old little villages, beaches and many attractions, such as Gardaland , Canevaworld for fun in the water and many other parks , among which Villa dei Cedri, a wonderful place to spend a day out with a beautiful park, swimming pools and a lake with warm thermal water .
For people who are interested in learning or improving Italian language, we will be pleased to organise a cultural homestay. Nicola's aunt is a long-experienced, qualified teacher who will make our guests enjoy Italian lessons in a familiar and relaxing atmosphere.

She also gives our guests the opportunity to learn some of the thousands of recipes belonging to the traditional Italian cuisine. They can join her practical cooking sessions or ask her to arrange a cooking course just for them . Explanations can be either in Italian or in English.

We look forward to welcoming you !

Directions

From Verona Porta Nuova railway station you can take the bus number 21 ( Winter) or 93 ( Summer). The bus-stop of Negrar is the last one. If you call us we'll pick you up at the stop.

From Verona take the road in the direction of the hills following the signs to Valpolicella until you come to the large roundabout at Santa Maria di Negrar.
At the roundabout, turn right following the signs for Negrar. Go straight on through San Vito to Negrar.
When you arrive in Negrar, go straight on over two roundabouts. After the second roundabout turn left and at the end of the street you'll see the Church. Continue leaving the church on your left. Then turn right and soon after turn left. Go up the hill along the winding road. When you find a bump, go on for a few metres and you'll see an area to park on the left. Our house is the one with jasmines and olive trees on the right.
