Immersed in a unique atmosphere, in the shade of a typical Sorrento citrus plantation, the holiday apartments of the Artis Domus are the ideal location to spend an unforgettable holiday in Sorrento.
The building has its origins from the villa Artis Domus which belonged to the Sorrento poet Silvio Salvatore Gargiulo, named Saltovar. A nineteenth-century villa, among the most famous historical houses in Sorrento, recently renovated and finely furnished, able to immerse its guests into a unique and unrepeatable atmosphere.
Apartments are studios / apartments which feature a kitchenette, plasma TV, satellite TV, Sky channels, wireless, pay TV, iron and ironing board. The linen are provided once a week.
The price includes also gas and electricity use.
In the cellars of the villa there is the inn, which takes its name from the villa itself, a much-frequented discoteque which is a meeting point of young people fond of music, good drinks and dance during winter nights. The inn rises in the place of the sitting-room that Saltovar, at the beginning of the century, created, making it a meeting place for any sort of musicians, thinkers, philosophers and artists.

THE TOURISM TAX According to Sorrento CityCouncil resolution n. 99 of 29/11/2011, from April the 1st to October the 31st 2012 the City of Sorrento will introduce the tourism tax applied to non-residents overnight staying, for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. The tourism tax per person per night is not applied to children up to 18 years old.

By Car: Motorway A3 Naples-Salerno towards Salerno Exit at Castellammare and proceed on Route 145 Continue to the Sorrento Peninsula.
By Train: In Naples you will find the Circumvesuviana that will take you to the Sorrento Peninsula. Go down to Sorrento.
By Sea: From Beverello Pier in Naples you will find ferries and hydrofoils to reach comfortably Sorrento Port.
By Plane: Take a taxi from Naples Capodichino airport.
