Directions

The b&b 'La Colonna' is located inside the city walls of Lucca, in the historic center, just steps from the beautiful Piazza of the Amphitheatre. You can reach us in Lucca on your own, or by public transportation such as rail, bus and even by plane.

By car:

The town center is, except in some areas, closed to car traffic. Still, you can easily reach all destinations in the city center by walking on foot. So to see the city you do not have to worry about using your car. Car parks are well distributed both within and immediately outside the walls. Once arrived in Lucca, you can park the car there and walk up to our b&b.

By train:

If you choose this means of travel, you will find a visit to Trenitalia site very useful: enter your departure city, arrival city (Lucca), enter the date and press enter. You will get the list of travel possibilities with prices and travel times. Our bed & breakfast is a few minutes' walk from the train station in the city center!
