We have privacy Cabins, including A/C, private bathroom, hot water,refrigerator private double or single bed,and more. We also have a beautiful large House with shared rooms and some private space too, which includes a giant kitchen that has everything you need.
Also there is a common living room with sitting areas with satellite TV, PlayStation and full of comfortable sofas that you can relax whenever you want. Outside the house there is a huge garden full of tropical natural fruit trees. In our place we also got a basketball court which is the best in the area, and there is a magnificent Pool table too. All our guests can enjoy our free Wi-Fi connection, also there is surfing lessons.
It is possible to sleep in tents or rental tent.
There are sitting areas and hammocks scattered all over the place comfortable sofas and most importantly a warm atmosphere of laughter and lots of fun.
And of course you can also get laundry service whenever you like to.
By Bus:
You can take the direct bus from San Jose ( departing from the Coca Cola bus station ) that leaves twice a day.
The morning bus leaves at 6:30a.m while the afternoon bus departs at 14:30p.m. The bus also utilizes the ferry. The ticket price that you pay the driver is includes the the cost of the ferry as well.
Total travel time from San Jose to Santa Teresa is approximately 4 hours, plus an additional 1 hour for the ferry.
By Car:
From San Jose, drive to Puntarenas. Take the ferry to Paquera. (Roughly $11 per car including the driver.) Once you get off the ferry, simply follow the signs to Cobano. When you get to Cobano, drive through town and turn left to Santa Teresa - Mal Pais. After a 10km drive, you will arrive at the Mal Pais crossroads. Turn right and follow the road 1 km north. By Air:
There are daily flights from San Jose to our local airport in Tambor. You can check flights with Nature Air or try Flysansa.com.
Flight time to Tambor from San Jose is approximiatley 20min. You will need to take taxi from Tambor to the hostel> We will be happy to arrange it for you if you email us. Total time is about 1 hour including the taxi.
