Elevated to emphasise its splendour, Al Qasr, which literally translates to "The Palace", comprises 292 exquisite rooms and suites, designed to reflect a Sheikh's summer residence . Approached via a ceremonial causeway, this majestic palace-style hotel rises up to form the jewel in the crown of the world's most sublime resort and authentic re-creation of "old Arabia" . Surrounded by water, Al Qasr forms a virtual island looking down upon a multitude of fascinating aspects: ancient wind towers, pools, meandering waterways and the superb private beach . Guest rooms at Al Qasr are a minimum of 55m' and are furnished in sumptuous Arabian styles, befitting the palatial themes, featuring a king sized bed, luxury bathroom and a balcony complete with table and chairs and beautiful views of the meandering waterways and wind towers, or the azure Arabian Gulf .
