The unique youth hostel 'The Knights' is facing the old city of Akko and combines the archeological antiques that the city has to offer. The hostel accommodation has 80 rooms in high standards which have beautiful view facing the walls of the old city. The guests of the hostel will enjoy the ancient aqueduct which was used to transport water to the old city; and also the dining room, cafeteria, and a wide porch with a breath taking view on the whole city of Akko. The youth hostel has a unique design which syndicates modern design with a touch of the city's authentic style.
Akko is a city located in the Western Galilee region of northern Israel at the northern extremity of Haifa Bay. The ancient city is one of the oldest populated sites in the country. Akko's old city has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Large-scale archeological excavations have been undertaken and efforts are being made to preserve ancient sites. Egged bus line 61,64 from the central station in Akko. To the entrace to the Old City.
Israel Railways; Every 20 minutes in peak hours. 43 NIS from Tel Aviv, 14 NIS from Haifa. Israel's only train operator, has over 40 daily trains to and from Akko every 20 minutes during peak hours. Some of these train go only till Haifa, while others continue to Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion Airport.
