Eichstaett is a baroque town located in the centre of the Nature Park Altmühltal, world-famous for its fossiles from coastal areas of the Jura sea as well as for the Altmuehl valley which was created by the original river Danube.

Arriving by train
Munich - Treuchtlingen. In Eichstätt-transfer station, take the regional train to Eichstätt City. From the station Eichstätt town is about 10 minute walk to the hostel.
Travel by car / bus
Nuremberg A9 direction Munich, exit Altmühltal over the Jura high road to Eichstätt.
A9 direction Munich, Nuremberg, Ingolstadt-Nord exit, continue along the B16 and B13 Eichstätt.
In Eichstätt direction Willibaldsburg orient, turn in the road opposite the White Burger OMV gas station in the hostel level. After about 200 meters into the street, youth hostel is Reichenau
