Beginner Dog Sledding One Night/Two Days This is our most popular adventure where you'll get to drive your own dog team. Many of our our touring dogs are some of Ed's Iditarod veterns and hopefuls. On this adventure, you will learn the basics of mushing, how to drive a dog team, and spend one night winter camping in our heated tent. No experience is necessary as you will be under the care of one of our fabulous, experienced guides. Each guest will drive his or her OWN dog team (no shared sleds). Cost: $450/person weekdays and $500/person weekends and holidays.
1/2 Day Trip: This option gives you the opportunity to drive your own dog team on our 10 mile mini-loop. You will receive a kennel tour, brief instruction and your own dog team. Drivers must be over 8 years old. Allow approximately 3 hours for all instruction, trip, and a great snack at the end of your tour. Our ½ day tours run from 9am-noon or 1-4 pm. Cost: $175/person to drive. If someone in your party prefers to ride, the cost is $85/rider. If you just have two riders (no sled drivers) the cost is $200 for the sled (two passengers).
