Melanya Mountain Retreat is a beautiful guesthouse nestled high in the Eastern Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria. Guests enjoy spacious, private accommodation and local organic food with the knowledge that they are contributing to sustainable tourism for the region.
The accommodation is a self-contained apartment comprising 1 twin and 1 double bedroom, with self-catering facilities and private entrance. A spacious wet room with shower and separate wc compliment your mountain holiday accommodation.
Please note: Guests pay only per person rates of €38 per night. Single guests and couples enjoy the whole apartment at no extra cost. Ignore the 4 person totals when booking! :-)

Melanya is 40k and about an hour and a half drive from the nearest towns, Kardzhali and Ardino. The last 7k is a rocky single track that entails a slow drive but offers spectacular views as it winds up the mountains.
Alternatively, there is a good bus service to Kardzhali, where you will be met for your transfer to Melanya Mountain Retreat by Land Rover. Collection from Sofia, Plovdiv and Bourgas airports are also available.
