Asahidake is the highest mountain in Hokkaido located in the eastside of Daisetsuzan Mountains in Sounkyo District and one of the most popular mountain resorts in Hokkaido . There are many activities throughout the year, such as star-filled night sky, hiking to field which is filled with blossoming alpine plants in summer and skiing on the real powder snow in the winter . The hotel is also featuring natural hot spring baths, indoor and outdoor where all guests will be able to enjoy and relax at the end of the day . (01/08 YT) It is a 4 storied building, mountain resort style, colored in brown . The hotel is situated on the main road of Asahidake Onsen . From Asahikawa, some public buses are operated daily basis from Asahikawa Train Station to Asahidake Onsen and it takes about 1 . 5 hours . Also, there is free shuttle service which is provided only during winter periods by the hotel either from Sapporo or Asahikawa city center . (Advanced reservation required .
